13:00 pm – Practical hands-on session under the supervision and guidance of expert trainers, delegates will gain experience with injecting dermal filler into Cheeks, nose, tear trough, Jaw. Toxin into neck, masseter and hyperhidrosis of underarm. Minimum of 6 models for each delegate to treat under supervision.

17:30 pm – OSCE evaluation – Delegates will be observed independently treating a client from initial consultation to completion of injection.

Delegates will be assessed on the following competencies.

  • History taking
  • Physical examination skills/clinical judgement
  • Demonstrates understanding of indications for treatment, A&P, procedural technique
  • Obtains informed consent
  • Demonstrates appropriate preoperative preparation
  • Offers/applies appropriate analgesics
  • Demonstrates safe delivery of proposed procedure
  • Technical ability
  • Aseptic technique
  • Post procedure management
  • Communication skills
  • Professionalism
  • Overall ability to perform the procedure competently
