11.30 – Infection control workshop, covering aseptic and clean technique.
12:30pm – Lunch
13:00 pm – Practical hands-on session under the supervision and guidance of expert trainers, delegates will gain experience with injecting dermal filler into Marionette lines, Nasal labial Folds, Lips, Smokers lines and correcting a downturned mouth. Minimum of 6 models for each delegate to treat under supervision.
Day two 9.00 to 18.00 hands on workshop using learnt techniques to inject live models under supervision.
17:30 pm – OSCE evaluation – Delegates will be observed Independently treating a client from initial consultation to completion of injection.
Delegates will be assessed on the following competencies.
History taking
Physical examination skills/clinical judgement
Demonstrates understanding of indications for treatment, A&P, procedural technique
Obtains informed consent
Demonstrates appropriate preoperative preparation
Offers/applies appropriate analgesics
Demonstrates safe delivery of proposed procedure
Technical ability
Aseptic technique
Post procedure management
Communication skills
Professionalism
Overall ability to perform the procedure competently
On successful completion of the course you will receive a CPD certificate which is recognised by all major insurance companies in the industry allowing you to go straight out and practice the new techniques learned.
